The Consilience Element of Integrative Medicine

Abstract

|
In this article the author examined that the current efforts on finding the identities of integrative medicine pedagogy in korea should focus on their special quality of integrated function of Knowledge relating to integrative medicine.
Depending upon the reviews of many scholars who had asserted the needs of integrations of Knowledges between natural and social science The author proclaimed that integrative medicine has many good qualities to be a core of those integrations. Also emphasizing the best virtue of integrative medicine is its open characteristics in the field of knowledges. As a conclusion The author insisted that integrative medicine should try to find their own identity on the basis of its open quality rather than searching its uniqueness of methodology, field of study, and the construction of Knowledge.
